Briefly tell families how God called you to coach at Cornerstone Christian Academy.
Sports has been a big part of my life. When Christ became Lord of my life, I knew coaching was my part of His plan to make disciples. The last year and a half I have been in transition with a new role in ministry. A few months ago Coach Fitch asked me to coach, and after much prayer God affirmed the decision to come coach at CCA. I am thrilled and honored to coach these young men. I am excited to be a part of the CCA family and blessed to serve the families of CCA.

Briefly tell families how God called you to coach at Cornerstone Christian Academy.
Before I came to CCA in 2015, I lived in the Dallas area. I began attending Park Cities Baptist Church in 2001 and met the Rec minister one Sun, and we became friends and as time went by we prayed together and the Lord opened up sports ministry to me. For ten years I was involved in the rec ministry for the church. I was blessed to work with the youth and adults of the church. By 2011, I was led to come to McKinney ISD where I work as a PE asst teacher, but the Lord then led me to CCA as I worked for the district to run the scoreboard for their 6 man football games. I approached the Athletic Director after one game to introduce myself and we met the next week, and before I knew it, I was coaching junior high basketball and have been blessed to work with such great Christian students and their families since then. My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 ” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
